The EOS token registration deadline is coming up soon. Are you ready?
EOS Token Registration: Why Do I Need to Register?
EOS holders need to register because, if they don’t, their EOS tokens are going to be frozen – in other words, they won’t be able to use their EOS tokens anymore.
At the moment, EOS tokens are ERC20 tokens registered on the Ethereum network. When EOSIO 1.0 launches, EOS is going to separate from the Ethereum network and become its own platform. When that happens, any EOS tokens left behind on Ethereum won’t be valid anymore.
For those users who are holding their EOS on Binance, Binance is going to take care of the EOS token registration for you. But if you hold EOS anywhere else, you will need to register yourself.
EOS Token Registration: When Do I Need to Register?
All users must register their tokens before June 1st, 2018. After that time, EOS will be its own entity.
Unregistered tokens will be frozen indefinitely by June 1st, 2018 at 22:59:59 UTC. After that time, you will not be able to transfer EOS tokens from the Ethereum blockchain.
EOS Token Registration: How Do I Register?
Confusion has swept the EOS community and some users are panicking about registering their EOS tokens because they don’t know how.
Can someone explain what this means in plain language?

I don’t understand what does this means? Can someone explain? Maybe am a lil slow… and what about users holding EOS on exchange such as binance?

There’s no need to panic though. Registering your EOS tokens is actually quite easy, especially with the help of our step-by-step guide on how to register your EOS tokens. The guide covers how to register through MyEtherWallet as well as through MetaMask. If you have any questions or concerns about the EOS token registration, then definitely check out our guide.
Remember to be aware of scammers asking for your private keys. Do not give anyone your private information. You do not need to do this to register.
