— Vitalik "Not giving away ETH" Buterin (@VitalikButerin) April 2, 2018Back in early January, the Tron Foundation was hit with Plagiarism accusations with their whitepaper. It seems that Buterin wanted to stir that pot again, following Tron's test net launch.
Justin Chimes In *Ding, Ding, Ding*Tron's Founder has finally responded four days later with an infographic showcasing how Tron outperforms Ethereum.
Sun's reasons for why Tron is better than Ethereum.
Why #TRON is better than #ETH: 1. 10000TPS vs. 25TPS 2. zero fee vs. high fee 3. consistent Coinburn vs. no coinburn 4. Java vs. Solidity 5. strong extensibility vs. no ex. 6. 1 billion USD developers rewards vs. no plan 7. 100 million users vs. small number #TRX $TRX pic.twitter.com/WvxH5EToa8— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) April 6, 2018

8. Better white paper writing capability (Ctrl+C + Ctrl+V much higher efficiency than keyboard typing new content)— Vitalik "Not giving away ETH" Buterin (@VitalikButerin) April 6, 2018
The Debate? Product vs. WhitepaperOne Tron enthusiast responded to Buterin's response by saying:
Product>whitepaper who cares about the manifesto when its the product that counts. I'll take the product ty.— Mak Hakeem (@CryptoInLondon) April 6, 2018
An Ethereum enthusiast shot back and said:
And blockchain code is open source so I aint bothered if its copied as long as I get a better product.— Mak Hakeem (@CryptoInLondon) April 6, 2018
It seems that there are individuals who feel strongly on both sides of the matter. Sun has since responded to shut down the confrontation and has taken the high road - As usual opinions are flying high.
there is a lot of difference between the "blockchain code" and whitepaper. if you cant even write an original whitepaper then i dont see the point in founding a cryptocurrency.— Anvesh (@AnveshSai13) April 6, 2018
Thanks for the reply of @VitalikButerin . #TRON benefits a lot from #eth and #eth inspires us to make a better decentralized platform. If you are more familiar with #TRON you will know we have launched testnet (Mainnet 5/31)and are more than white paper writing. #TRX $TRX https://t.co/GVHqWRTeNP— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) April 6, 2018
After reading this, what are your thoughts? Obviously, an un-plagiarised whitepaper and working blockchain project is the goal, but IF the whitepaper is in fact partially plagiarised, does it matter when Tron has a working main net at the end of May? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this in the comment box below. >> Vitalik Buterin Calls Craig Wright a "Fraud" Featured Image: Twitter
Also, #TRON is in test net stage right now and we need more prestigious developers like @VitalikButerin to give us valuable advice and code review to make #TRON better and stronger. #TRX $TRX Please check Github: https://t.co/mr1u2etMSg https://t.co/GVHqWRTeNP— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) April 6, 2018
