Fans have long awaited the announcement of the mystery partner that has joined forces with Verge. The date is coming up fast and we may just have our answer on April 17th (so stay tuned).

Rumors are flying that this partner is TokenPay, another crypto that is a “decentralized and self-verifying payment platform project.” TokenPay (TPAY) is 1,315th on the CoinMarketCap list and is also up for the day, by 12.94%.

Verge started with a crowdfunding campaign that largely relied on revealing the mystery partner “if our goal is met,” said the Verge team. April 16th was chosen as the day for the big reveal. Although TokenPay is the top choice for some, speculations are still flying over who it could be – ranging anywhere from Facebook to Amazon to Wikipedia.

The hype surrounding Verge’s impending mystery partner reveal is no doubt causing the token’s price to rise in these days leading up to the announcement. The key, then, will be maintaining the momentum after April 17th. Will Verge be able to pull it off?

Remember when Ripple was selling for $3.00? That’s certainly not the case anymore. Although Ripple has lost a lot in coin price since January, the company has made a lot of steps towards building up Ripple for the long haul.

Ripple’s technology has a lot of banks interested and has for quite some time. Now, the first mobile app using Ripple’s technology has been developed. The app, OnePay FX, allows users to send Euro or Dollar transactions in only minutes, instead of the usual hours or days – and can be sent to individuals, as well as companies. The app is part of Ripple’s partnership with Santander UK. Santander UK is running trials with Ripple’s technology and this app is the first launching pad.

OnePay FX is available on the Apple app store, for those curious to check it out.

Ripple’s price could easily fluctuate throughout the day – it may go down from here, or it may go up.

IOTA recently announced that Dr. Rolf Werner, the head of Fujitsu, has joined the IOTA Foundation. Although they didn’t specify what Werner would be doing for IOTA, they were enthusiastic about the expertise and connections he’d be able to bring to the project.

This may not be directly affecting IOTA’s price right now, but progress for the project will eventually lead to progress in the worth.
