Bitcoin Cash (BCH) starts the day off on a high.
Of the top ten cryptocurrencies, only four coins are up. The leader of that group, by a long shot, is Bitcoin Cash, which has, at the time of writing, increased by 27.86% in the past 24 hours. The second best performer in the top ten is currently IOTA (MIOTA), but even that is only up by 1.97%.
Bitcoin Cash is the 4th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, trailing only about $8 billion behind Ripple’s market cap, which is ranked as number 3 on CoinMarketCap.
Currently, Bitcoin Cash is priced at $1,293.95, with a market cap of $21.9 billion.
The day’s movement of Bitcoin Cash rose early in the morning and has been rising fairly steadily ever since. Will Bitcoin Cash continue its climb and end the day also on a high? It’s hard to tell, what with the volatility of the crypto market. Just yesterday, every coin was up in the morning, and many fell as the day went on; for example, Ripple and Stellar.
Bitcoin Cash is currently only being beaten out by Civic (CVC), which has grown by 29.35% in the past 24 hours at the time of writing. Civic is practically on the other end of the spectrum from Bitcoin Cash; CVC is ranked as the 98th largest cryptocurrency by market cap and its current selling price is $0.478013.
Bitcoin Cash has separated itself from its predecessor Bitcoin today, Bitcoin’s rise currently sitting at 1.20% in the past 24 hours.
Things are constantly changing in the crypto world. Even as I write this, coins are no doubt swapping rankings, rising and falling, and flipping on their heads. It’s a rollercoaster of a market – sure makes for an entertaining ride though!
